RIBA chartered architect's practice delivering residential and commercial projects in Cheshire and Manchester

Our story

We are a RIBA chartered architect’s practice based around Cheshire and Manchester area with a great passion for the profession. We appreciate elegant and sympathetic architecture that respects its history and surroundings and carefully considers its future. Building on over 18 years’ experience, we are excited to work with our clients and offer professional architectural and design services tailored to their specific requirements and budget.

Whether you are considering a simple residential project, or a larger and more complex residential development or a commercial project, we can take you through the construction process, from assisting you in defining your brief to completion on site.

Starting with initial designs, subsequent planning applications, technical design and building regulations submissions through to contract administration and site supervision, we ensure our work is practical, cost effective, buildable and aesthetically pleasing.

We pride ourselves on a personal, client focused approach, offering our clients helping hand in form of comprehensive advice and efficient professional services, so that they can achieve their visions, however big or small, through a well-informed decision process while ensuring they feel understood, involved and in control.

Also working with smaller or larger developers, we understand the delivery process, the need to maximise the property and site value, and costs and risks involved.

We love what we do and we would be delighted to meet you at your property or site for a free initial consultation.

Silvia Knowles

Silvia qualified as an architect in the UK over 18 years ago and gained her experience in a local practice, realising tens of projects for a wide range of clients; from extensions and new-build dwellings for private clients and large residential developments for national house builders, to sports pavilions for a local authority. Her passion for the profession, attention to detail and hands on approach drives her to deliver architecture that is practical, complements the existing surroundings and enhances quality of life of its occupants. If not at work, Silvia can be often found in the mountains; walking, scrambling, or skiing.
